01. We are camera shy and feel awkward about having our photos taken!

That’s ok! The majority of my couples feel this way!! Rest assured I won’t force you to into any uncomfortable poses. My aim is to capture the natural chemistry between you both and I am able to do this by offering gentle guidance, for example, asking you to walk along holding hands. Some couples need little to no prompting, but often even the most confident of personalities can feel slightly nervous being in front of the camera. It is completely normal, and I want you to enjoy your couple’s shoot and look back at your photos remembering how happy you felt in that moment.

That’s why I offer a pre-wedding shoot (complimentary with my full day photography packages), as this is the perfect opportunity for us to get to know each other and for you both to get used to being photographed, putting you more at ease on your wedding day.

02. How would describe your style and approach?

I consider myself to be a natural, relaxed, creative photographer with a love for incorporating nature into my photos and utilising natural light wherever I can.

My passion is creating timeless bold, bright images and beautifully contemporary films that encapsulate the style of your wedding day and tell your unique love story.

I aim to capture genuine smiles and laughter throughout your day while blending in with your guests. In fact, I’d love you to feel like you’ve invited an extra friend to your wedding, and not just completing a business transaction!

03. How long should I expect to wait to receive my photos & films?

Photos usually take between 8-10 weeks.

Films I usually allow between 18-26 weeks.

If you have a package covering both then it could take a little longer, but I will do my best to keep you informed. The lead time could also be a bit longer during particularly busy times.

Creating beautiful photos & films is an art and they are carefully hand edited by me to ensure you have quality memories that you can enjoy and look back on for years to come.

04. How do we book you?

My booking process is super simple. Just drop me a message to let me know which package you’d like to go for, your date, venue and a few details about yourselves.

If I’m available to capture your wedding and you’d like to book, then I can then send over the booking form to fill out and contract to sign. I require a 25% booking fee to secure your date with me. The remaining amount is due a month before your wedding day.

05. Do you offer a pre-wedding consultation?

Yes. This is usually done over video call - it’s great to put a face to a name and have a chat about your wedding plans!

You can also book a pre-wedding photo shoot with me, which is also an amazing way to get to know each other in person, how I work and you come away with not only some gorgeous photos of you both to use on your wedding day or have as a keepsake, but you should be filled with tonnes of confidence on your wedding day too!

06. Do you travel beyond Cornwall?

Absolutely! I love to travel beyond Cornwall! Weddings within Cornwall are included in my package prices, while anything beyond incurs a charge of 45p per mile. Where an overnight stay is needed, accommodation and other travel expenses will need to be covered by yourselves too.

07. Do we need to provide a meal for you?

You’re certainly not obliged to provide meals for us but a small bar meal is always appreciated. Having a hot meal ensures that we are refuelled and able to continue capturing your amazing day at our absolute best without having to leave the venue to source our own meal and potentially miss any crucial events during your day.

08. Are you insured?

Yes! I’m fully insured with Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance.
